Solar Saturday is set to take place at the Manlius Library, offering families a chance to get ready for the total solar eclipse. The event, running from 10:30 a.m. to around 4 p.m., features various activities such as cereal box viewers, pinhole projectors, age programming, astronaut food tasting, and a special speaker from the MOST. If attending Solar Saturday is not possible, a comprehensive list of available activities to observe the solar eclipse can be found on the library’s website. Additionally, some libraries will hold watch parties for Eclipse Day on Monday, which can be found on the Onondaga County Public Library System website. For further details on library programming, you can view the full story here. Every other week, a different library within the Onondaga County Public Library System is highlighted to showcase its unique offerings.
