Central New Yorkers eagerly waited in line outside the Skan Ellus Drive-In for a chance to enjoy some delicious ice cream and food. Bill Casper emphasized his love for ice cream, stating that any type of ice cream is good for him. After a period of closure, the drive-in has reopened with a fresh look, changing its building color from red to black and white and introducing a new patio. More exciting changes are in store for May, including the addition of a playground, a dog park, and barbecue items on the menu. Co-owner Vinny Lobdell was thrilled to see Carmelo Anthony and Jim Boeheim dining at the drive-in, adding to the excitement of the day. Casper expressed his satisfaction in contributing to the community and preserving this landmark. Meanwhile, Lobdell commended Boeheim for his continuous support and passion for the community.
