CNY Central receives 4 nominations in the 67th Annual New York Emmy Awards

CNY Central, a television station in New York, received four nominations in the 67th Annual New York Emmy Awards. These awards, part of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, recognize excellence in television and advanced media in the tri-state New York-New Jersey-Connecticut and New York State region. Among the categories in which CNY Central was nominated are News Excellence in Medium/Smaller Markets, Overall Excellence in Medium Markets, and Evening Newscast in Medium/Smaller Markets. Two of the evening newscasts that were nominated focused on the fatal shooting of 11-year-old Brexialee Torres Ortiz and the Syracuse Catholic Diocese’s $100 million settlement with survivors of sexual abuse.
