The 2024 Great New York State Fair is set to begin on Wednesday, August 21 at the NYS Fairgrounds. Online ticket sales will commence on Tuesday, July 16 at 9 a.m. In preparation for the upcoming event lasting from August 21 to September 2, the state fair’s website has shared important details on admission and parking for the attendees.

Here is the pricing information for admission and parking for the 2024 event:
– Admission tickets are priced at $8 each.
– Individuals aged 65 and above, as well as children under 12, can enter for free every day of the fair.
– A Frequent Fairgoer ticket can be purchased online for $25, allowing for daily admission throughout the fair.
– Parking is available at $12 per vehicle for access to any of the fair’s public lots.

To purchase tickets:
– Admission and parking sales can be made online through the Fair’s official ticket vendor, Etix, or by calling Etix toll-free at 1.800.514.3849 during specific hours.
– Cash sales will not be accepted at the fair’s entrance gates or parking lots.
– Self-service kiosks at all gates will enable patrons to buy admissions, and QR codes will be displayed for direct online ticket purchases using mobile phones.
– Parking fees can be paid using credit cards in each lot, with advance parking ticket purchases recommended for quicker lot entry.
– Fairgoers with advance sale parking vouchers should have them ready for scanning by attendants for swift access to parking spots.

For attendees arriving by vehicle on any fair day this year, the total cost for tickets and parking, inclusive of fees, will be $20.73.
