Flo Rida, popular global musician, set to perform at the Great New York State Fair

The organizers of The Great New York State Fair are inviting attendees to don their furry boots as Grammy-nominated artist Flo Rida is set to perform at Suburban Park on Thursday, August 29 at 8:00 p.m. Known as one of the most prominent figures in the music industry, Flo Rida has sold over 100 million singles and has graced major stages like The Bowl Championship Series National Championship Game and The NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four. Fair Director Julie LaFave expressed excitement about the upcoming hip-hop show, stating that Flo Rida’s music has left a lasting impact, and they anticipate a packed Suburban Park singing along to the summer tunes. The Fair is renowned for providing top-notch entertainment at an affordable price, offering an opportunity to create lasting memories without breaking the bank from August 21 to September 2.

Flo Rida’s track record includes hits like the five-time platinum single “Low,” which dominated the Billboard Top 100 chart for 10 weeks. With chart-topping singles such as “Right Round,” “In the Ayer,” “Club Can’t Handle Me,” “Good Feeling,” “Wild Ones,” “Whistle,” “My House,” and “I Cry,” his music has garnered 30 platinum certifications and featured in various movies, video games, and TV shows. The Fair, running from August 21 to September 2, encompasses all concerts and ground activities in the admission fee, making it one of the most economical state fairs nationwide. Tickets, parking, and Midway passes are available for purchase on The Great New York State Fair’s website. Adult admission is $8, with free entry for children under 12 and seniors aged 65 and above. A Frequent Fairgoer pass at $25 allows access for the Fair’s entire 13-day duration, and parking is priced at $12 per vehicle.

Featuring 39 national recording acts, The Fair’s Chevrolet Music Series will showcase daily concerts at Chevy Court at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., along with an 8 p.m. show at Suburban Park. The lineup at Chevy Court includes artists like Chubby Checker, Sister Sledge, Kidz Bop, Blue Öyster Cult, and others. Suburban Park will host acts like Warren Zeiders, Chevelle, Dropkick Murphys, and many more, with Flo Rida headlining on August 29. Visitors can catch these performances and more at The Great New York State Fair, promising a fun-filled and musically rich experience for all attendees.
