In a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll, Kamala Harris is shown to lead Donald Trump by a 2% margin in the upcoming presidential race. The poll indicates Harris is ahead with 44% compared to Trump’s 42%. Interestingly, in a poll conducted last week before President Joe Biden’s withdrawal, Trump was leading by 2%.

This latest survey was carried out on Monday and Tuesday after Trump’s nomination acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention on Saturday and Biden’s announcement of his withdrawal and endorsement of Harris on Sunday. The poll, conducted online, surveyed 1,241 U.S. adults across the nation, with 1,018 of them being registered voters.
