USA Today has once again recognized Syracuse’s International Taste Festival as one of the top 10 city food festivals in the nation for the second consecutive year. The festival, which is in its third year, secured the eighth spot in nationwide public voting. Out of 20 nominees selected by a panel of the publication’s editors and industry experts, the Syracuse festival competed alongside events in prominent cities like Buffalo, Queens, Chicago, and New Orleans. Scheduled to return on Saturday, April 6 at the New York State Fairgrounds from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the International Taste Festival offers a culinary world tour experience with over 30 vendors showcasing foods, beverages, performances, and crafts representing the diverse cultures of Central New York. Festival organizer Stephanie Pestillo expressed gratitude for the growing recognition of the event nationally, as evidenced by an increasing number of vendors and performers showing interest in participating in the celebration.
