Man wounded in shooting near Teall Avenue exit of I-690 in Syracuse

Syracuse, N.Y. – A man sustained injuries from a shooting incident near the Teall Avenue exit on I-690 Eastbound in Syracuse on Tuesday, July 16. Syracuse Police responded to reports of gunfire on I-690 Eastbound close to the Teall Avenue exit at approximately 6:52 p.m. that day. Upon their arrival, officers discovered several bullet casings at the scene. They also found a man in his twenties who had been shot at least once in the arm. The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital and is currently in stable condition, according to Syracuse Police. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing and active.
