Miss Prissy’s will introduce soul food dishes at Syracuse Hancock International Airport by 2025

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Miss Prissy’s, a local American soul food restaurant, will be introducing its unique flavors to the Syracuse Hancock International Airport in early 2025. The restaurant will be situated in the post-security checkpoint hallway leading to Terminal B gates, offering travelers the opportunity to savor some American Soul food before their departure.

Miss Prissy’s, a New York State Certified Minority and Woman Owned Business, originally operated in the Salt City Market food hall in Downtown Syracuse. After graduating successfully from the business incubator program, founders Dreamer Glen and Cyrus Thornton are thrilled to unveil two new locations for their black-owned upscale full-service restaurant.

The first brick-and-mortar location of Miss Prissy’s will be opening on South Warren Street in November of this year, with plans for the airport location construction to begin later in 2024, aiming for an early 2025 launch.
