New soul food restaurant Miss Prissy’s to open in Syracuse Airport by 2025

ISSUE:American soul food restaurant, Miss Prissy’s, expanding into Syracuse Hancock International Airport in 2025.

In Syracuse, New York, a local American soul food eatery is set to introduce its distinctive flavors at Syracuse Hancock International Airport in early 2025. Miss Prissy’s will be situated in the post-security checkpoint corridor leading to Terminal B gates. This prime location, located near the TSA security checkpoint, will provide all travelers with the opportunity to savor some American soul food before their flights.

Previously located in the Salt City Market food hall in Downtown Syracuse, Miss Prissy’s is a New York State Certified Minority and Woman Owned Business. The founders, Dreamer Glen and Cyrus Thornton, have successfully graduated from the business incubator and are enthusiastic about opening two new locations for their thriving, black-owned upscale full-service restaurant.

Miss Prissy’s, a well-known soul food vendor, is gearing up to open its first standalone restaurant. The inaugural brick-and-mortar establishment will be situated on South Warren Street, with an anticipated grand opening in November of this year. Construction for the airport location is expected to commence in late 2024, with a planned opening date in early 2025.
