Parking garage on S. Salina St. closed by Syracuse Code Enforcement

The City of Syracuse Division of Code Enforcement has officially shut down a parking garage located on South Salina St. in Syracuse. The address of 501-23 S. Salina St. and Harrison St. has been deemed unfit for use by the City. A spokesperson from the Mayor’s Office stated that the closure was necessary due to various unaddressed code violations such as unsanitary conditions, lack of safe fire access and exits, and inadequate security measures.

The parking garage ceased operating for vehicles on Thursday, March 14, and was required to be vacated by Friday, March 15 at 4 p.m. Individuals seeking information on payments already made should contact the owner/operator at 1-844-472-7577.
