Reward of $2,500 Available for Details on Deceased Dog Discovered in Kelley Memorial Park

A reward of $2,500 is available for information that could lead to the apprehension and prosecution of the individual responsible for abandoning a deceased dog at Kelley Memorial Park in February. The nonprofit organization Cuse Pit Crew, which advocates for pit bulls and other misunderstood breeds in Syracuse, is offering the reward. The dog, known as Finn after its passing, was discovered dead and wrapped in two bags at the northwest corner of Kelley Memorial Park on February 13. Described as a young male, unneutered, gray, and severely underweight by Cuse Pit Crew, Finn’s case has prompted the call for tips. Those with information that could lead to the suspect’s arrest are encouraged to contact (315) 442-5336, email animalcruelty@syracusepolice.org, or reach out to cusepitcrew@gmail.com. Tips can be submitted anonymously and will be handled with confidentiality.
