In Liverpool, N.Y., a box truck has gotten stuck under the Onondaga Lake Parkway Bridge. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when a box truck going east on Onondaga Lake Parkway collided with the low-clearance bridge, trapping it underneath. At present, the road is shut down to traffic, and drivers are recommended to take Old Liverpool Road as an alternate route. The New York State Police have verified that the driver is unharmed, and the Vehicle Enforcement Unit is examining the truck. The most recent bridge mishap took place on December 8, 2023.
