Solar Saturday Event at the Manlius Library Goes Beyond Books

Solar Saturday is scheduled to take place at the Manlius Library, providing families with an opportunity to come together and get ready for the upcoming total solar eclipse. The event will feature a variety of activities from 10:30 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m., including making cereal box viewers, pinhole projectors, astronaut food tasting, and special programming for different age groups. Additionally, a speaker from the MOST will be present. Some libraries will also be hosting watch parties for Eclipse Day on Monday, as listed on the Onondaga County Public Library System website.
