As we head into the new work and school week, the weather is expected to improve with nicer, drier, and slightly warmer conditions.
Tonight, any remaining batches of rain and thunder will be moving out of the area, with some partial clearing expected for a few hours. By sunrise on Monday, there may be areas of dense fog and scattered sprinkles or light rain as cooler air along a weak front passes through, enhanced by moisture from Lake Ontario.
Throughout Monday, there will be a mix of clouds, sprinkles, and some sunshine. For those planning for the school day, here’s an updated bus stop forecast. Temperatures on Sunday were cooler in the 50s in Syracuse, while areas to the south and west experienced much warmer temperatures reaching the 70s to near 80 degrees.
