Star-studded lineup announced for Syracuse Jazz Fest: Performance by Kenny G, O’Jays, Gino Vannelli, and Mavericks.

The upcoming Syracuse Jazz Fest in June will feature an impressive lineup of renowned artists such as Kenny G, the O’Jays, Gino Vannelli, and The Mavericks! Kenny G, a celebrated American jazz saxophonist, composer, and producer, is known for his record-breaking sales of over 75 million albums globally. Returning for his third headline appearance at the National Grid Syracuse International Jazz Festival in 2024, Kenny G will be delighting audiences once again.

The O’Jays, an iconic American R&B group formed in 1958, emerged as a significant presence in Philadelphia soul music with hits like “Back Stabbers” and “Love Train.” Gino Vannelli, a Canadian singer-songwriter who achieved rockstar status in the 1970s and 1980s, will also be part of the festival. The Mavericks, an Americana band from Miami, will make their third appearance, promising high-energy performances.

The event will take place from Wednesday, June 26, to Saturday, June 29, featuring a diverse lineup of artists at various venues in downtown Syracuse. The festival’s schedule includes performances by notable artists like Marissa Mulder, Joe Magnarelli, Tish Oney, the Latin Groove Connection, and more at multiple downtown locations.

Each night will offer different themes, including the Opening Night presented by Price Chopper/Market 32, Visit Syracuse Night, Syracuse University Night, and National Grid Night. These themed nights will showcase a range of jazz talents, culminating in performances by headliners such as Kenny G, The O’Jays, Gino Vannelli, and The Mavericks on the final night of the festival.
