The O’Jays, a celebrated American R&B group, achieved fame with hits like “Love Train” and have been inducted into various music halls of fame. Gino Vannelli, a Canadian singer-songwriter, gained fame in the 1970s and 1980s with hits like “I Just Wanna Stop” and “Wild Horses.” The Mavericks, an Americana band originating from Miami, Florida in the late 1980s, will be making their third appearance at the festival.
The 2024 Syracuse Jazz Fest will take place from June 26 to June 29, featuring a diverse lineup of artists across various downtown venues. The festival will kick off with Price Chopper/Market 32 Opening Night on June 26, followed by events on subsequent days including Visit Syracuse Night, Syracuse University Night, and National Grid Night. Each night will feature performances by a range of jazz musicians and bands at different locations within downtown Syracuse.
