Syracuse Nationals makes a comeback at NYS fairgrounds with new ownership in July

The Syracuse Nationals, the largest car show in the Northeast, will be held at the NYS Fairgrounds in Syracuse from July 19 to 21. The event, which has been growing steadily, is now under new ownership with ambitious plans. The new owners have invested an additional $100,000 in marketing to reach key outside markets such as Buffalo, Rochester, Scranton, Albany, Toronto, and southern Ontario.

Carrie Wojtaszek, the COO of Galaxy Media Partners, mentioned that this extra marketing effort is in addition to their existing plan for promoting the Syracuse Nationals. The economic impact of the 2023 show was estimated at $19 million by Visit Syracuse.

The event will feature both new attractions and classic cars, along with a replica from the “Transformers” movie. Children under 12 can attend the show for free. Co-owner Ed Levine highlighted the family-friendly nature of the event and expressed a long-term goal of expanding its reach geographically over the next 3-5 years.
