Syracuse Police investigating stabbing near Rescue Mission Shelter at night

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — On Thursday evening, a male individual was discovered with stab wounds in Downtown Syracuse. Syracuse Police reported that they were called to the 100 block of East Onondaga Street at approximately 11:10 p.m. in response to a stabbing incident. They found a man in his thirties with two apparent stab wounds. He was then taken to Upstate University Hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Through their investigations, officers determined that the stabbing occurred on the 100 block of Dickerson Street, near the Rescue Mission Shelter.
