Syracuse resident apprehended for driving recklessly around stationary F-M school bus

In an update from Sunday, March 31, the Manlius Police Department has located the vehicle that passed a stopped school bus. The driver of a Toyota Camry who failed to stop for the bus has been identified as 66-year-old Quang Van Pham of Syracuse. Pham was arrested for reckless endangerment and received multiple traffic citations. The original incident involved a Fayetteville-Manlius bus driver pulling a girl back by her backpack as a speeding driver passed the bus, captured in a surveillance video. The driver, Pham, was seen passing the bus on the right side where a student was about to exit. The video shows other vehicles stopping as the bus activates its lights. The incident was shared on the Town of Manlius Police Department’s Facebook page, urging the driver to come forward and providing contact information for tips, which can remain anonymous.
