Arcadia, N.Y. – The Rose City Drive-In movie theater in Wayne County, which closed in 1984, is making a comeback for a second round. The original 100-by-45-foot screen remains intact and is prepared to showcase blockbuster films. Situated on State Route 31 just beyond the village of Newark, the drive-in has upgraded with a new concession stand, projector system, and restroom facilities. Its soft launch commences on Friday, April 5, featuring a screening of “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” a recent release.
