AT&T surprised young coders at the Huntington PreK-8 School in Syracuse, NY, with free laptops during a graduation ceremony following a weeklong digital literacy camp called the AT&T ‘Cuse Youth Ambassador Program. The program, organized in collaboration with Tech4Kidz and Syracuse University, aims to provide educational opportunities for students. AT&T’s Director of External Affairs, Kevin Hanna, emphasized the effectiveness of making learning engaging and enjoyable for children, stating that when they are having fun, they may not even realize that they are learning. The program, which focuses on robotics and programming, saw the children enthusiastically engaging with the activities. This event marked the second year of the program, and many participants expressed excitement to use the new laptops for various interests, including watching TV shows, movies, and starting their own coding projects.
